The Centenary Walk Route

The team will walk, non-stop, along the footpaths and canals of Warwickshire. In 40 hours they will cover 100 miles using:

The Route in Full

Heart of England Way

They start at Alcester, and then join the Heart of England Way to reach:

Centenary Way

At about 5:00am on Friday morning they leave Lower Quinton and join the Centenary Way to reach:

At Northend the intrepid walkers head north for:

Towards the end of Friday afternoon the team will make collections in Southam High Street. They head for Bascote and the Grand Union Canal.

Grand Union Canal

The walkers join the Grand Union at Bascote and then proceed to:

North Oxford Canal

At Braunston Junction the Oxford Canal leaves the Grand Union to head for Rugby. Shortly after 9:00pm on Friday the team will start on the North Oxford, first reaching Hillmorton.

At midnight, with twenty-four hours of walking behind them, they press on for:

Coventry Way

It will be about 4:00am when, at Brinklow, the travellers leave the canal and take to the Coventry Way to reach:
